Terms of Service

1. Who we are

ResuMakeAi (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) is operated by SKK Digital, based in Hanoi, Vietnam. You can reach us at hello@resumakeai.com.

These terms form a binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

ResuMakeAi helps you build, import, edit, score and export CVs and cover letters, and surfaces job listings from third-party job boards that may match your background. Some features use artificial intelligence to generate or rewrite text.

3. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• One person per account. Do not share accounts.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create — your CV, your cover letters, your personal details. We claim no ownership over it.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit your content solely to operate the Service for you. That includes sending relevant parts of it to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train AI models.

You confirm that the information you provide is truthful and that you have the right to use it — including any details about previous employers.

5. AI-generated content — read this

AI features produce suggestions, not facts. Generated text can be inaccurate, generic, or subtly wrong about your history. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you send it to an employer.

Specifically, you should not rely on AI output to state qualifications, dates, employers, or achievements that you cannot personally verify. Submitting a CV containing false information can have serious consequences for you, and those consequences are yours, not ours.

ATS scores, match percentages and interview-chance ratings are estimates produced by our own models. They are not endorsed by, connected to, or predictive of any actual employer's hiring system or decision.

6. What we do not promise

We do not guarantee that using the Service will get you an interview, a job offer, or any employment outcome. Hiring decisions are made by employers using criteria we neither control nor see.

Job listings shown in the Service come from third-party job boards. We do not verify them, do not control their accuracy, and are not responsible for listings that are expired, misleading, or fraudulent. Always apply through the original source and use your own judgement.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create knowingly false or fraudulent CVs.
• Upload another person's personal data without their permission.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Scrape, resell or redistribute job listings obtained through the Service.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or exhaust AI usage allowances.
• Use the Service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where reasonably possible we will tell you why first.

8. Plans, payment and refunds

The Free plan is available at no cost with limited allowances. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout.

Payments are processed by PayPal. Unlike a reseller, PayPal is not the merchant of record for your purchase: your contract for the purchase is with us (SKK Digital), and PayPal simply handles the transfer of funds on our behalf. PayPal's own user agreement governs your relationship with PayPal as a payment method, separately from these terms.

• You can cancel any time from your Billing page. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
• 7-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with a paid plan, contact us within 7 days of your payment and we will refund it in full. This applies to your first payment on a plan; renewals and later billing periods are not covered by this guarantee. Outside this window, we do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
• If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days; where you have asked us to begin the service immediately, that right may be reduced or lost once you start using it. This is separate from, and does not reduce, the money-back guarantee above.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

9. Referral programme

Referral credits are promotional benefits, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time. Credits earned through fake or duplicate accounts will be removed and may result in account closure.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service entirely we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost employment opportunities, lost income, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or that AI output will be accurate.

12. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. On deletion we remove your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Deletion is permanent and we cannot recover deleted content.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Nothing here removes protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence.
